Greetings! I am sure you fondly recall your days living in the Gamma Pi
House and the bonds of brotherhood in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. I write
today to share with you the exciting things happening at Gamma Pi and
the ways you can invest in a stronger Sigma Chi Fraternity at the
University of Rochester.
This stronger Gamma Pi of Sigma Chi includes:
* Enhanced Gamma Pi communications
You’ve probably noticed a redesign of The Genesee Sig. We’re also adding
timely e-distributions to inform you of house corporation activities,
brotherhood events, and alumni gatherings.
* Strengthening of the house corporation
We’re excited about new active alumni involvement and a new vision to
ensure the safety and beauty of 555 Fraternity Road, as well as its
ability to host events. Contact me to get involved.
* Chapter house maintenance and upgrades
The house corporation is taking a proactive approach to repairs and
planning for future needs as we seek to restore the luster of this aging
facility. However, your help is needed now as corrective action is
required to retain operation of the chapter house.
We ask for your participation in the first “Halls of Gamma Pi Annual
Appeal.” Proceeds from this fund will address the physical needs of the
chapter house, which has served hundreds of pledge classes over its 80
years. Would you please consider joining me and all the members of the
house corporation in making a donation today? Your generous gift will
help us reach this year’s goal of $10,000. Every gift will make a
difference.
