Sigma Chi’s purpose is to promote the concepts of Friendship, Justice, and Learning; to build brotherhood and life long membership among members from all walks of life. Its mission statement is to develop values-based leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus and community. Sigma Chi’s vision statement is “to become the preeminent collegiate leadership development organization—aligned, focused and living our core values”.
The Jordan Standard
The health of an organization is determined by the quality of its members. To ensure that our Fraternity is sustained by men worthy of membership, the Jordan Standard represents a set of minimum requirements, determined by founder Isaac M. Jordan, that are used to evaluate potential members before they are invited to pledge.

The Sigma Chi Creed
The Creed describes the beliefs of a Sigma Chi member and how he should live his life. To brothers it tells us to live honorably because by doing so we earn respect for ourselves and our fraternity.
